Pattie Fitzgerald is the founder of Safely Ever After, Inc. and is nationally recognized for her work as a Child Safety Educator, Children’s Author, and Family Coach. Admired for her down-to-earth style and practical approach, Pattie’s workshops and seminars give parents real solutions and strategies for protecting their families.
For over 18 years, Pattie has presented effective, non-fearful parenting seminars, as well as keynote speeches and staff trainings to schools, hospitals and non-profit organizations across the country.
As a safety teacher, Pattie visits schools throughout the United States, directly speaking with students of all ages about how to be “the boss of their own body” and guiding kids with her Super 10 Safe-Smart Tips. By replacing the ineffective “stranger-danger” concept with “tricky people awareness”, her programs are fun, empowering, and most importantly proven effective.
Safely Ever After also provides grade-level classroom curriculum so that teachers and school counselors everywhere can provide lessons to their own students at any time.
Prior to creating Safely Ever After, Pattie worked as the Community Outreach Educator for the national advocacy agency, Parents for Megan’s Law. She is also a former court appointed child visitation monitor, in addition to her work as a Montessori preschool teacher.
Recognizing the need for a new approach to child safety lead Pattie to author two highly acclaimed children’s books: “NO Trespassing – This Is MY Body!” and “Super Duper Safety School”. They are now published all over the world and her work has been translated into Spanish and Chinese.
She has been featured on Dateline NBC, Good Morning America, The Today Show, ABC World News Tonight, MSNBC, CNN, the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) and is a frequent guest on parenting podcasts and local television programming.
